I am a Certified Public Accountant and have my Masters of Science in Taxation. I was in public practice for 29 years and served a wide range of tax clients. I am currently an university adjunct tax instructor teaching graduate and undergraduate tax classes.
I have always been very interested in tax law and tax policy. In this blog, I’ll be looking at applications of tax law that I either find interesting , or want to explore. Most posts will be structured more as a quantitative presentation rather than a lengthy discussion. Hopefully, they will be both interesting and informative.
The Code of Laws of the United States of America (USC) is a compilation of the general and permanent federal laws of the United States. Subject matter in the USC is organized in 51 “Titles”, with each Title covering an area of law. USC Title 26 – Internal Revenue Code contains the laws governing federal taxation in the U. S., and hence the inspiration for the name of this blog.
